Alternative Press Festival 2009

Wednesday 29th July – Sunday 2nd August 2009

A festival of events over five days celebrating the small press, self publishing and being creative in the print media.

I will be selling some of my comics at the Foundary bar on the 30th of july and leaving a very small, new and free issue of Quiche Kebab, for people to pick up. I will be there so come down and say hello.

New issue of Quiche Kebab

Small, free and left where places take it. It's the way forward for Quiche Kebab, Im not being presious with it anymore and producing it when I have a strip idea. Good huh!

Multi-story - Exhibition

Diaspora Project

I have made a piece for the Diaspora Project, that is being shown at the Madam Lillies gallery in Stoke Newington.

The project was a collaboration between several artists and the Betty Laward Primary School, which involved shop keepers stories with a focus on Diaspora and heroes in the local community. I ran an animation workshop for this project. The animations are on view at the gallery and online here:

It is a really interesting show, anyone who is planning on teaching children, (8-9 year old) animation should see the animations they did, especially the ones done in Flash, The final results went beyond my expectations.
