Description

Our stainless steel lap joint flange is designed to fit over the pipe’s outside diameter. The backing flange remains in place and does not rotate, while the lap joint flange can swivel or rotate around the pipe.
This design is advantageous because it allows easy alignment, flexibility during installation, and the ability to align pipe sections without fully tightening the flange.
These flanges are often used in systems that require frequent disassembly or maintenance, such as in large-scale industrial applications.

The pressure rating of 150LBS (150 Class) flanges typically refers to a maximum pressure that the flange can safely withstand at a given temperature.
For 150LBS flanges, the pressure rating varies depending on the material and temperature, but for general reference, it is approximately:

At 100°F (37.8°C): 285 PSI / 19.7 BAR
At 200°F (93.3°C): 250 PSI / 17.2 BAR
At 400°F (204°C): 175 PSI / 12.1 BAR
At 600°F (315°C): 100 PSI / 6.9 BAR
